Lovely golden brown vintage wood and brass cello case
in excellent condition.
Two brass hooks on the sides for closure and brass hinges.Mostly original fittings.
This piece is richly weathered giving it a wonderful patina.
The inside of the case is lined with navy blue felt and is also in good condition.

Belonged to Professor Hermann Becker whowas cellistin the Johannesburg City Orchestra before coming to Port Elizabeth in the l950sand forming a Childrens Orchestra here.
